I’m Charles, the Founder and General Manager of BestAsiaTours.com (owned by China Joinday Travel Co., Ltd.). It’s my pleasure and honor to have the opportunity to share with you the joy and gains of traveling in Asia.

I graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a master’s degree in Hotel and Tourism Management. For the past 30 years, I have been engaged in the Asian tourism industry, where my company has extended its services to includ inbound and outbound tourism, domestic tourism, airline ticketing, tourist transportation, cruises, study tours, exhibitions, cultural media, hotel management and consulting, and holding investments.

In 2010, I founded the Chaptel Hangzhou Hotel and served as its chairman. In 2013, I led the hotel’s entry into the international boutique hotel alliance, Relais & Chateaux. From 2017 to 2022, I served as the Vice Delegate for Asia of Relais & Chateaux. This experience allowed me to delve into the boutique hotel and luxury hotel industries, deepening my understanding of luxury and quality tourism.

Moreover, I am passionate about travel and have a wide range of interests including tea, coffee, cigars, wine, and gastronomy. I am also devoted to the study of art, aesthetics, and intangible cultural heritage, which reflects my lifestyle and taste as I pursue an artistic way of life. I understand precisely what our clients seek and how to make the travel experience in Asia unique and unforgettable.

Secondly, I would like to introduce Our Logo and let you know more about us. In 2008, our company designed the meaningful Logo, a combination of a panda and a brown bear. The panda, a symbol of Asia, represents Asian people, while the brown bear, representing Western countries, symbolizes Western travelers. Our team, comprised of local Asians, escort Western travelers to explore the real Asia, its splendid culture and charming scenery.

Furthermore, I would like to be your first tour guide and tell you a bit more about Asia before you go. Asia is not only the largest continent in the world but also the most populous. Its name “Asia” originates from the Semitic languages of ancient West Asia, meaning “the place where the sun rises in the east”. Asia is the birthplace of human civilization with three of the world’s four ancient civilizations located here. Traditional cultural values are deeply ingrained in the hearts of its people. Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Hinduism, and other religions are widely spread in Asia, forming a rich and diverse religious culture that not only influences people’s spiritual world but is also deeply imprinted on art, architecture, and daily life.

Besides, Asian cuisine is also a wonderful and unforgettable part of the trip. The diverse flavors and rich tastes are sure to leave a lasting impression. From spicy hotpot in China, sushi in Japan, Kimchi in Korea, curry in India, Tom Yum in Thailand, to Bak Kut Teh in Malaysia, each dish embodies profound cultural heritage and historical tradition of the country.
