Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Beijing
Meals included: Null
Hotel: Decent 4-star or 5-star hotel in Beijing (centrally located)
Upon arrival, our local guide will pick you up at the Arrival Hall of Beijing International Airport. Then be transferred to your hotel in the city center. Free and easy for the rest of the day. You will stay in Beijing for 3 nights.
Day 2 Beijing
Meals included: Buffet breakfast, Chinese Lunch, Peking Roasted Duck Dinner.
Hotel: Decent 4-star or 5-star hotel in Beijing (centrally located)
After enjoying the breakfast you will walk on Tian’anmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place here. Then discover the Forbidden City (closed on Monday), one of the five most famous palaces in the world where the 24 emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years.
Lunch will be served with local Chinese meal.
This afternoon, drive to visit the largest and best preserved imperial garden, the Summer Palace, which was constructed in late Qing Dynasty as the summer resort for the Empress Dowager Cixi. It’s built according to the famous West Lake and designed with the technique of private gardens in South of Yangtze River.
Tonight, we will arrange you with the local specialty with the best Peking Roasted Duck Dinner as the welcome dinner.
After dinner, drive back to the hotel.
Day 3 Beijing – Mutianyu Great Wall
Night Show: Acrobatic show at Red Theatre

Today, let’s continue exploring the world-famous Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall, one of the Eight Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As one of the most important military defense facilities in ancient China, it is used to limit the movement of enemy cavalry, protect national security and the stability of people’s production and life.The section is the highlight of the Great Wall. You will take a leisurely cable car (round way) up and down the Great Wall, and explore the incredible great building of human being.
Lunch is arranged with the local Chinese meal.
After Lunch, drive back to the downtown. On the way, you will take a look at the “Bird Nest” and “Water Cube”which are the representative buildings of Olympic Games Beijing 2008 on the bus.
Late this afternoon, we will arrange you with the fantastic and interesting Acrobatic Show at the famous Red Theatre. Acrobatic is considered to be the quintessence of Chinese culture with over 2,000 years.
After the show, drive back to your hotel.
Day 4 Beijing – Xi’an (By Bullet Train)
Special activity: Leisurely rickshaw tour in Beijing Hutong

It’s day 4 of your China tour. After breakfast, we will take you to visit the famous Houhai Park, a little slice of how locals live. Normally the locals exercise every day — it’s a good way to know local life. We then drive to visit the renowned Temple of Heaven, a landmark of Beijing, where emperors in the Ming and Qing dynasties used to pray for good harvests and conduct the Heaven Worshipping Ceremony. We then take you on a leisurely rickshaw tour in Beijing Hutong. You will have the chance to see the original residence of the local people and experience their lifestyle. Here is where we make time for lunch.
After lunch, transfer to the railway station and take the bullet train– the fastest train in China. It takes around 5.5 hours on the way, the perfect amount of time to enjoy China’s landscapes on the way to the ancient city Xi’an. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our local guide and escorted to your hotel for your 2-night stay in Xi’an.
Day 5 Xi’an
Meals included: Buffet breakfast, Chinese Lunch

After breakfast, start your full day tour in the ancient city. Firstly, visit the renowned Terracotta Warriors and Horses. The Terracotta Army was crafted to guard Emperor Qin Shihuang’s tomb and protect him in the afterlife. It is estimated that over 7,000 life-size terracotta figures and horses are buried here.
Lunch will be served with local Chinese meal.
This afternoon visit the landmark of the city, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Built in the Tang Dynasty, the square pyramid stands at 60 meters high and seven-story tall. It was built to restore the Buddhist scriptures brought by the famous Monk Xuanzang. The story had been rewritten to a famous classic novel, <The Journey to West > . After that, visit the Grand Mosque, a time-honored and large-scale architectural complex that showcases the interpenetration between Islamic belief and Chinese culture. After that, stroll around the famous Muslim Quarters where you can taste the local delicious snacks.
After that, drive to your hotel.
Day 6 Xi’an – Chengdu (By Bullet Train)
Special activity: Cycling on Ancient City Wall.
Meals: Buffet breakfast, Dumpling Banquet at De Fa Chang Restaurant.

After breakfast, drive to visit the Ancient City Wall, constructed during the Ming Dynasty with a history spanning over six centuries, which is likely the largest and best-preserved city wall in China. You will take a interesting cycling tour on the massive city wall. Then visit the Square of Bell and Drum Tower where you can see the well-preserved ancient Bell and Drum Tower of Ming Dynasty (Outside visiting only). After that, visit the Former Residence of Family Gao. It is famous for its well-preserved typical historical residence with courtyard. You will also enjoy a traditional puppet show here.
Lunch will be served the famous Dumpling Banquet at De Fa Chang Restaurant which was established in 1,936.It’s one of the most famous dumpling restaurants in Xi’an.
After the tour, drive to take the bullet train to the leisurely city Chengdu. Upon arrival, be picked up and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Chengdu.
Day 7 Chengdu
Meals included: Buffet breakfast, Chinese Lunch, Sichuan Hotpot Food for Dinner

Today, spend your full day time to explore the city’s spotlights. Firstly stop is the famous Sanxingdui Museum and discover the mysterious culture of Ancient Shu Kingdom. The highlight exhibited items including the Bronze Giant Standing Figure,Bronze Masks and Mysterious Bronze Tree. In addition to precious cultural relics excavated in 1986, such as the Bronze Tree of Life, which have been moved to the new museum, nearly 600 other artifacts will also be exhibited for the first time, totaling over 1,500 pieces (sets) of pottery, bronze ware, jade, gold, ivory, and other types of artifacts, tripling the number of originally exhibited artifacts.
Lunch will be served with Sichuan cuisine.
This afternoon, stroll around famous Jinli Ancient Street, which actually is the ancient street with a total length of 550 meters. It features the traditional former residence of Ming and Qing dynasties style. Then have a short break and have a cup of tea at the local tea house in People’s Park. Enjoy the slow-paced life as the locals do. Tonight, we will arrange you with the local famous food-Sichuan Hotpot food for dinner which is most popular food in Chengdu and Sichuan. After dinner, drive back to the hotel.
Day 8 Chengdu – Dujiangyan – Chengdu

As the national treasure and unique species in China, the lovely panda is definitely should be put on the schedule in your trip in Chengdu. Considered to be the “Living Fossil”, the giant panda is believed to exist for around 8 million years. Early this morning, you will be picked up at your hotel lobby and transferred to the famous Panda Valley located in Dujiangyan (around 1.5 hours on the way). Founded in 2010, the Panda Valley is the branch organization of Chengdu Panda Research Base and dedicated to the research on the wild transition and release of giant pandas. The valley boasts a beautiful ecological environment, lush vegetation, and abundant flora and fauna. The park features Giant Panda Villas and a Red Panda Ecological Release Area, allowing visitors to closely observe the natural behaviors of giant pandas.
This afternoon, continue on to visit Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project. Located on the Min River in the west of Chengdu Plain, it is a large-scale water conservancy project built by Li Bing, the governor of Shu Prefecture, during the late period of King Zhaowang of Qin (approximately 276-251 BCE). It consists of a vast engineering system, including canal headworks (Fish Mouth, Feishayan, and Baopingkou), irrigation channels, and various engineering structures. As the world’s oldest and only surviving large-scale water conservancy project featuring damless water diversion, it has been in operation for over 2,250 years, providing comprehensive benefits such as flood control, irrigation, and water supply.

Day 9 Chengdu – Shanghai (By Air)
Special activity: Cruise on Minjiang River

Today, be transferred (150km around 2.5 h) to Leshan to visit the famous Giant Buddha. The Giant Buddha takes around 90 years for the whole project in Tang Dynasty. With a total height of 71 m (233ft), it is considered to be the largest and tallest Buddha statue in the world. You will climb up to Buddha from the feet to the top and discover the fantastic size of the Giant Buddha. After the tour, you will take a leisure cruise on Minjiang River and get the panoramic view of the Giant Buddha.
Lunch will be served with Chinese meal.
After the tour, drive to the airport for the departure flight to financial center of China, Shanghai. Once there, be picked up and transfer to the hotel.You will stay in Shanghai for 2 nights.
Day 10 Shanghai

After breakfast, start your full day tour to explore the metropolis. Firstly, visit the renowned Shanghai Museum (closed on Mondays), one of the top three museums in China, which boasts an extensive collection of bronze artifacts and numerous other rich collections. It’s a good place to learn the history and culture of China. Then stroll around the romantic place the Bund that is a famous waterfront with 52 various buildings of different architectural styles. You can enjoy a beautiful skyline of the city here.
Lunch will be served with the authentic Shanghai cuisine at the famous LULU Restaurant which was opened since 1985.It is highly recommended by the local Shanghaiese.
Then, visit the renowned Yu Garden, constructed in 1559 A.D. and reputed as the “Stunning Pearl” of Shanghai, which stands as the most famous private garden in the city. Stroll around the close-by bustling Yuyuan Bazaar where you can do some shopping with the little gifts.You will also taste the delicious street food-Long Xiang Baozi (steamed stuffed-bun). After that, stroll around the famous Tianzifang, a very popular site for tourists in Shanghai, which was renovated from the local Stone-Arched House into the trendy boutiques stores, bars, restaurants as well as art studios. Dinner will be on your own expense.

Day 11 Departure from Shanghai

This morning, drive around the Lujiazui Financial Zone, which is regarded as the “Wall Street of China” due to the concentration of numerous international banks and financial organizations in the area. Then visit the New landmark of Shanghai, Shanghai Tower. With the total height of 632m, it is ranked NO.1 tallest building in China. You will take a high speed elevator up the 118 F Observation Hall where you can get a great bird view of the metropolis.
After the tour, transfer to the airport for homeward flight(we suggest you book the homeward flight with departure time after 4:00pm). End your memorable trip in China.
