Day 1 Arrival in Kuala Lumpur
Welcome to Malaysia, a fascinating tourist destination filled with exotic charm, natural beauty, and cultural diversity, which boasts abundant historical relics and delicious cuisine.
Upon arrival, our local guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day, easy and free on your own to explore the capital city.
Day 2 Kuala Lumpur
Today, start your city tour from Malaysia National Museum. It is a comprehensive museum integrating history, culture, and art. Through a wealth of exhibits and interactive experiences, it comprehensively displays Malaysia’s long history, diverse cultural heritage, and unique ethnic flavors, serving as an excellent venue to understand Malaysia’s historical and cultural heritage. The National Mosque of Malaysia, the largest mosque in the entire Southeast Asia, can accommodate up to 8,000 Muslims praying simultaneously, creating a very spectacular scene.
The Petronas Twin Towers, built by the national oil company, remain the world’s tallest twin towers to this day and have a high appearance rate in films. Tianhou Temple is one of the largest Chinese temples in Malaysia. Renowned for its magnificent architecture and solemn atmosphere, the Temple of the Sun (commonly referred to as Tianhou Temple here for context) serves as a hub of Chinese faith and a tourist attraction. Located in Selangor, Batu Caves is just 13 kilometers away from Kuala Lumpur city center. The karst limestone cave complex, with its unique natural scenery and profound cultural heritage, has become a rare tourist attraction listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Day 3 Kuala Lumpur – Malacca – Kuala Lumpur
Today, drive out of Kuala Lumpur and head to Malacca, a historically significant city in Malaysia and once an important trading port. You will spend a full day time to explore the city.
Saint Peter’s Church, located on the northern side of Malacca City, was built in 1710 and stands as the oldest Catholic church in Malaysia. Constructed by the Portuguese, it blends Eastern and Western architectural features, boasts exquisite interior decorations, and features colored glass windows among other distinctive elements. It is a must-visit destination for tourists seeking to understand the historical and cultural heritage of Malacca. A Famosa
Fortress is a historical fort built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. It stands as a testament to the region’s rich colonial history and offers visitors a glimpse into the past through its ruins and historical artifacts. Christ Church is a prominent church with a bright red exterior, located in the heart of Malacca. Built in 1753, it is the oldest Protestant church still in use in Malaysia and belongs to the Anglican Diocese of West Malaysia. Cheng Hoon Teng Temple is the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia, founded in 1673. It enshrines deities such as Guanyin and serves as an important symbol of Chinese spiritual and cultural heritage.The final stop is Malacca’s Jonker Street. It is a vibrant cultural and historical hub in Malacca, Malaysia. With its preserved colonial-era buildings, bustling night markets, and diverse range of shops selling souvenirs, handicrafts, and local delicacies, it offers a unique glimpse into the city’s rich heritage.
After the tour, drive back to Kuala Lumpur.
Day 4 Kuala Lumpur – Penang
Today, you will depart Kuala Lumpur and travel northward to Penang. Penang is renowned as the “Eastern Silicon Valley” and the “Emerald of the Indian Ocean”. It boasts a developed economy and is renowned worldwide as an electronics manufacturing base. Additionally, it possesses rich historical and cultural heritage as well as delectable cuisine.
Once there, you will visit highlights of the city. Sam Poh Tong Temple is a famous Buddhist cave temple, known for its stunning scenery and intricate Buddhist statues. It’s a place of worship and a tourist attraction, offering a glimpse of Malaysia’s cultural diversity. Ubudiah Mosque is a stunning mosque with a golden dome and minarets. It serves as a proud sanctuary for Muslims and showcases the architectural brilliance of Malaysia’s multicultural heritage.
Day 5 Penang
After breakfast, we will pick you up for the Tropical Spice Garden Cooking School. This is the first cooking school in Penang, surrounded by jungle trees and wildlife, a small herb garden and a glimpse of the Andaman Sea. With the guidance of professional chefs, you can learn how to cook local cuisines like Assam Laksa, Nasi Lemak, Chicken Tandoori and even inspired beverages. Then you can enjoy the foods made by yourself at lunchtime.
After that, visit Kek Lok Si Pagoda, the Southeast Asia’s largest Buddhist temple, which boasts magnificent architecture, including the seven-story Rama VI Pagoda, surrounded by serene surroundings. The temple is a popular tourist attraction, offering a glimpse of Malaysian cultural diversity. Penang Hill, also known as Penang Mountain, is a scenic spot in Penang, Malaysia. With an altitude of 821 meters, it offers breathtaking views of the city and sea. Visitors can take a cable car or hike to the top, enjoying lush greenery and fresh air along the way.
Day 6 Penang – George Town – Penang
Continue on your exploration to the famous George Town, which was recognized as World’s Heritage Site by UNESCO. As the capital of Penang State in Malaysia and one of the largest cities in the state, George Town boasts its long history and rich cultural heritage. Renowned for its well-preserved historic buildings, multicultural fusion, and vibrant street art, George Town offers visitors a chance to stroll through its streets and alleys, admiring a variety of architectural styles such as British, Portuguese, and South Asian, while experiencing the unique urban landscape shaped by Malays, Chinese, Indians, and Europeans. Additionally, George Town is a paradise for food lovers, featuring numerous authentic local delicacies and renowned restaurants, where you can savor the cuisine while delving into the local culture and lifestyle.
After the tour, drive back to Penang. The rest of the day, free on your own.
Day 7 Penang – Kota Kinabalu ( By Air )
Today, you are free on your own until you are transferred to the airport for the flight to the amazing destination Kota Kinabalu. Kota Kinabaly, also known as Api, is the capital of Sabah, Malaysia. It boasts stunning beaches, lush mountains, and a rich cultural heritage. With a population of 380,000, it’s a bustling hub for tourism and trade, featuring a modern airport and vibrant local markets.
Once there, our local guide will meet with you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Checking-in the hotel, the rest of the day, your are free at leisure.
Day 8 Kota Kinabalu
Today, end your tour in Semporna and head for the fascinating destination, Kota Kinabalu. As the capital of Sabah State in Malaysia, it boasts stunning beaches and abundant marine life, making it a paradise for divers. With its pleasant climate and rich cultural heritage, it attracts tourists from around the world with its unique charm and diverse tourism resources.
You will take a morning flight from Semporna to Kota Kinabalu. In the morning, explore the Mali Mali Cultural Village to immerse yourself in Malaysian folklore. The village boasts a rich array of activities, including visiting exhibits of Malaysian handicrafts, watching traditional Malaysian dance performances, and tasting Malaysian-style pastries. This afternoon, embark on an exhilarating adventure at Koko Mountain. On the mountain, you can try paragliding, the popular giant swing, and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Kota Kinabalu city. Across the mountain lies the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, offering stunning vistas that are truly spectacular. It’s highly recommended to paraglide during sunset, and watching it from high in the sky offers a unique and unforgettable experience.
Day 9 Kota Kinabalu
Today, continue on your exploration tour in Kota Kinabalu. Firstly, explore Tiga Island, which locates relatively close to the downtown area of Kota Kinabalu. The activities on the island cater to people of all ages, making it suitable for family trips or trips with children. This afternoon, take a boat tour through Kawa Mangrove Forest to have a close encounter with the proboscis monkeys. As evening approaches, enjoy the breathtaking sunset over the mudflats, with the setting sun casting a warm golden hue over the mangrove forest, creating a particularly stunning scene. Evening exploration tour in Riverside Fireflies Ecological Base is highly recommended to do in Kota Kinabalu. In the evening, embark on a boat ride to explore the fireflies. Day 10 Departure from Kota Kinabalu
Today, you will spend half day time to explore Kota Kinabalu city. Firstly, visit the Floating Mosque, where the blue-and-white architecture and the azure sky are reflected in the crystal-clear lake water, creating a sacred and breathtaking beauty that leaves one in awe. Then, stroll through Gaya Street, the most distinctive and lively street in Sabah. Every weekend, it transforms into a bustling market where many locals dine, offering a rich taste of Southeast Asia.
After the tour, you will be transferred to airport for the your departure flight. We wish you a peaceful and pleasant homeward or onward journey.
