Day 1 Kuala Lumpur – Arrival
Welcome to Malaysia, a multicultural tropical country, boasts for its abundant natural resources, stunning beaches, unique cultural heritage, and exquisite cuisine.
Upon arrival, our local guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day, easy and free on your own.
Day 2 Kuala Lumpur City Tour
Today, start your city tour from Malaysia National Museum. It is a comprehensive museum integrating history, culture, and art. Through a wealth of exhibits and interactive experiences, it comprehensively displays Malaysia’s long history, diverse cultural heritage, and unique ethnic flavors, serving as an excellent venue to understand Malaysia’s historical and cultural heritage. The National Mosque of Malaysia, the largest mosque in the entire Southeast Asia, can accommodate up to 8,000 Muslims praying simultaneously, creating a very spectacular scene. Sultan Abdul Samad Building, a legacy from the British colonial period, features an eccentric architectural style that blends the brilliance of Arabic Moorish architecture with hints of Indian architecture, making it both magnificent and enigmatic. The Mariamman Hindu Temple boasts a highly eye-catching design that attracts everyone, regardless of whether they are Hindus or not, to admire its beauty. The Petronas Twin Towers, built by the national oil company, remain the world’s tallest twin towers to this day and have a high appearance rate in films. Additionally, from 7 PM to 10 PM, there is a fountain light show at the plaza in front of the Twin Towers. If you just want to take a photo of the Twin Towers, the musical fountain plaza at night is the most suitable spot.
Finally, take a leisurely stroll down Jalan Alor, Kuala Lumpur’s most famous food street with a history of over 50 years, where you can find over 100 stalls offering various delicacies.
Day 3 Kuala Lumpur – Semporna ( By Air )
Today, you will depart Kuala Lumpur to Semporna, a rising paradise for divers in Tawau City,located on the east coast of Sabah. It was originally just a small fishing village but has now developed into a famous underwater tourism center, renowned for its clear sea water, abundant marine life, and beautiful islands.
You will fly from Kuala Lumpor to Tawau Airport firstly and take a car to Semporna. Then you will interchange the speed yacht to reach Mabul Island.The most distinctive feature of Mabul Island is the indigenous Bajau tribe, where primitiveness coexists with modernity. The island is an ideal location for learning diving, with many dive shops setting up diving instruction points here. Resorts offer beachfront cottages and over-water bungalows, providing services for scuba diving and snorkeling.
Day 4 Semporna
Today, you are free on your own, do the diving in the crystal ocean and enjoy the sunshine on the beach. You may also experience Kapalai Island Snorkeling or Madakang Island Snorkeling. The two islands are highly recommended to do snorkeling and observe the marine life.
Day 5 Semporna – Kota Kinabalu ( By Air )
Today, end your tour in Semporna and head for the fascinating destination, Kota Kinabalu. As the capital of Sabah State in Malaysia, it boasts stunning beaches and abundant marine life, making it a paradise for divers. With its pleasant climate and rich cultural heritage, it attracts tourists from around the world with its unique charm and diverse tourism resources.
You will take a morning flight from Semporna to Kota Kinabalu. In the morning, explore the Mali Mali Cultural Village to immerse yourself in Malaysian folklore. The village boasts a rich array of activities, including visiting exhibits of Malaysian handicrafts, watching traditional Malaysian dance performances, and tasting Malaysian-style pastries. This afternoon, embark on an exhilarating adventure at Koko Mountain. On the mountain, you can try paragliding, the popular giant swing, and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Kota Kinabalu city. Across the mountain lies the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, offering stunning vistas that are truly spectacular. It’s highly recommended to paraglide during sunset, and watching it from high in the sky offers a unique and unforgettable experience.
Day 6 Kota Kinabalu
Today, continue on your exploration tour in Kota Kinabalu. Firstly, explore Tiga Island, which locates relatively close to the downtown area of Kota Kinabalu. The activities on the island cater to people of all ages, making it suitable for family trips or trips with children. This afternoon, take a boat tour through Kawa Mangrove forest to have a close encounter with the proboscis monkeys. As evening approaches, enjoy the breathtaking sunset over the mudflats, with the setting sun casting a warm golden hue over the mangrove forest, creating a particularly stunning scene. Day 7 Kota Kinabalu – Kuala Lumpur ( By Air )
Today, you will spend half day time to explore Kota Kinabalu city. Firstly, visit the Floating Mosque, where the blue-and-white architecture and the azure sky are reflected in the crystal-clear lake water, creating a sacred and breathtaking beauty that leaves one in awe. Then, stroll through Gaya Street, the most distinctive and lively street in Sabah. Every weekend, it transforms into a bustling market where many locals dine, offering a rich taste of Southeast Asia.
After the tour, you will be transferred to airport for the flight back to Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival, you will be picked and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day, easy and free on your own.
Day 8 Kuala Lumpur – Departure
