Explore Langkawi Island

Langkawi, an archipelago of 99 islands, offers the perfect island getaway. So, what can you do here?

  1. Enjoy the Scenic Beaches
Pantai Cenang Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Langkawi, features white sandy shores and crystal-clear waters. Take a leisurely stroll, sunbathe, or go for a refreshing swim—it’s the perfect beachside escape!

For a quieter experience, you can head to Pantai Tengah Beach, which is located not far from Pantai Cenang. With its peaceful atmosphere, it’s an ideal spot to enjoy a tranquil moment alone with the sea.

  1. From Village to the Mountaintop
Oriental Village, located at the foot of Langkawi’s Machincang Mountain, serves as the gateway to the island’s highest vantage point. From here, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Langkawi, and on a clear day, even catch a glimpse of Indonesia’s Sumatra Island.

So, how do you soar to the mountaintop?

By taking the thrilling Langkawi SkyCab! This steep cable car ride spans 1,700 meters with a vertical incline of 42 degrees, offering an exhilarating and unforgettable journey to the mountaintop.

As the cable car slowly ascends, the ground fades into the distance while the lush mountains come into view. Below, rolling greenery stretches endlessly, where the mountains meet the sea—creating unforgettable memories with every moment.

The cable car ride consists of two sections. The first stop leads to a viewing platform where you can take a short break before continuing the journey to the summit. At the mountain’s peak lies the highlight of the experience—the Langkawi Sky Bridge. Suspended above the valley and connecting two mountain peaks, the bridge offers a surreal experience. When the mist rolls in, it feels like stepping into a dream world; when it clears, the breathtaking landscape unfolds before your eyes.

From here, you’ll witness a spectacular panorama where towering mountains, deep blue coastlines, and lush tropical rainforests blend harmoniously. This stunning view alone makes the journey worthwhile. For those seeking a thrill, the bridge also features glass viewing panels, allowing you to look straight down into the forest below—if you dare!

  1. Embark on an Artistic Adventure
In addition to the cable car ride, Oriental Village offers numerous attractions perfect for family interactions.

The 3D Art Museum, filled with interactive and illusionary 3D artworks, is a must-visit. Kids will love stepping into a fantasy world where whales leap off walls, and dragons soar into the sky. You can also enjoy interactive photo opportunities, such as becoming a knight wielding a shield against monster attacks, striking a powerful blow with Thor’s hammer, or transforming into a mermaid swimming through the ocean!

After exploring the magical world of 3D art, take it a step further with a 4D dinosaur movie experience where you can hop onto a metal carriage to journey back to the age of dinosaurs and watch as different types of dinosaurs appear right before your eyes—an exciting adventure for both young and old alike!

  1. Watch a Sunset
As the colors of the sunset paint the sky and the sea, casting a warm glow over the coconut trees and white sandy beaches, the day reaches its romantic climax. But perhaps, for you, this is only the beginning of a beautiful evening.

Sep 2025 • Family

This is the second time we plan a trip with Best Asia Tours and we love their service and attention to detail as well as their willingness to make your trip memorable and anything you want possible. Their planning is impecable and very efficient and if anything is not as you expected they will work to make sure it is. we did a 21 day itinerary for 7 including 2 grandmas back on 2018 and we just went back a couple of weeks ago with our daughter for 12 days and had an awesome time. We are already planning the next one. Zoe and Eric who had help us with the travel planning were both amazing their speed to comeback with the itineraries and changes is impressive and not matter how many times you ask them to look at changes or different hotels etc they are always willing to help with the most wonderful attitude . All the guides we had on the different cities and regions have be incredible . I can not recommend them enough. I have traveled al over the world and they are definitively on the top service of the agencies I had used.

Best Asia Tours did a really good job planning our itinerary in Japan. Some times we had issues coming up I think mostly related to cultural differences, but our agent was amazing and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were comfortable and the trip was perfect. The hotels are centrally located, very easy to access to the city center. The guide and driver are friendly and nice. We spend a pleasant and amazing journey there.

The trip was great and our agent performed great. We were pleasantly surprised with how responsive they were and with the trip that they planned. Very professional. A previous agent told us we couldn’t pull off a trip with so many stops but it was not a problem and the pace of the trip was good for us. We don’t like sitting still in one spot for too long. The guides in each city did well and a couple were excellent.
