Best Places to Visit in Philippines

The Philippines has emerged as a premier destination for international travelers, captivating global adventurers with its rich natural landscapes, unique cultural heritage, amazing seaside resorts, diverse outdoor activities, and distinctive culinary delights. Manila, the capital of the Philippines and a popular tourist destination, seamlessly blends the essence of Eastern and Western cultures, with historical relics coexisting alongside the vibrancy of a modern metropolis. Cebu, known as the “Queen City of the South,” integrates Spanish colonial heritage, the Santo Niño culture, swimming with whale sharks, and tropical island scenery into a single, captivating experience. Boracay, with its world-class white sand beaches, breathtaking sunsets, abundant water activities, and diverse culinary offerings, has become a dreamy island paradise in the hearts of global travelers. Bohol weaves a unique tapestry of natural wonders and adventures, featuring the fantastic Chocolate Hills, the sole habitat of the Philippine tarsier in the world, ecological encounters with whale sharks, and honeymoon-worthy pristine seascapes. Dumaguete, the “university town” of Eastern Negros Province and a hub for island-hopping, stands out for its cost-effective private island retreats with one-island-one-resort experiences, daily whale shark sightings, and pristine coral reef sanctuaries, making it a hotspot for international travelers. Siquijor, a jumping-off paradise where Philippine mystical witchcraft culture intertwines with jellyfish-clear waters, outlines the magic and wild charm of a lesser-known island through 10-meter cliff jumping, centuries-old “magic trees,” and untouched coral reefs. El Nido, standing proudly as a “maritime utopia” in Palawan, boasts a jade-green sea dotted with 45 limestone islands, merging world-class diving sites, secluded white sand beaches, and primitive cave explorations to create the purest island-hopping retreat in the Philippines. The Philippines holds even more dreamy destinations waiting for you to explore.

China Essence with Natural Wonders Exploration

May 05th, 2026, Couple

We traveled to China during 05th May to 17th May, 2026. Here goes our comment.

Guilin & Yangshuo:

Mr. Tom was an excellent guide in every aspect. He made every experience a great adventure and beyond. With his energy and knowledge, he adjusted the schedule with extra activities such as visiting the pandas, which made it extra special. He is good at explaining everything in a clear and succinct way, since much is guiding us, we loved our time in China and couldn’t have done it without Tom. He is also frequently offering helpful knowledge we very much appreciated. He also took great pictures of us. Mr. Kong, the driver is very courteous & flexible.

Zhangjiajie, Furong & Fenghuang town:

Allen is a capable and smart guide who has an optimistic and patient personality. We feel fortunate to have her. She is very good at arranging the schedule and navigating the towns’ sights in an efficient manner. We appreciate her help to negotiate with the photographer and provide us good seats and advice. The driver Mr. Lee is a safe & excellent driver who is courteous to us, other drivers and pedestrians. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Zhengzhou area. The hotel was excellent!

Beijing:

Ray Liu is a very knowledgeable and smart guide with excellent English. We learned a lot from him about Chinese history, culture, and current life. He is on time and capable. He shared with us a lot of interesting facts and information, and it was easy to talk to him because he is friendly, talkative and has fluent English. Ray knows his way around & got us everywhere, and it was nice there was a charge port in the back. He can be more courteous to bikers & pedestrians, but we got everywhere safely.

This is the second time we plan a trip with Best Asia Tours and we love their service and attention to detail as well as their willingness to make your trip memorable and anything you want possible. Their planning is impecable and very efficient and if anything is not as you expected they will work to make sure it is. we did a 21 day itinerary for 7 including 2 grandmas back on 2018 and we just went back a couple of weeks ago with our daughter for 12 days and had an awesome time. Classic Japan Tour, Tokyo, Mt.Fuji, Osaka, Kyoto

Aug 2025

Best Asia Tours did a really good job planning our itinerary in Japan. Some times we had issues coming up I think mostly related to cultural differences, but our agent was amazing and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were comfortable and the trip was perfect. The hotels are centrally located, very easy to access to the city center. The guide and driver are friendly and nice. We spend a pleasant and amazing journey there.
