This morning, you will take a leisure boat trip along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda – the symbol of Hue. With a history spanning nearly 400 years, the temple complex boasts dozens of resplendent structures, including the Hall of Heavenly Kings and the Main Buddha Hall, along with landmarks such as the seven-story Phuoc Duyen Tower, a colossal bell, and ancient stelae. Minh Mang Tomb is the mausoleum of Minh Mang, the second emperor of Vietnam’s Nguyen Dynasty, with construction commencing in 1840. Its architectural complex is symmetrically arranged in the shape of the Chinese character “明” (Ming), blending natural and cultural landscapes. It stands as a paragon of construction techniques and Confucian cultural ideals during the Nguyen Dynasty’s zenith and is acclaimed as the most complete and exquisitely designed mausoleum among those in Hue.

At noon, enjoy the traditional Hue cuisine in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, return to the city center to spend half day to discover the glory of ancient capital of Vietnam. The Imperial City of Hue served as the royal palace of Vietnam’s Nguyen Dynasty. Located in central Hue City, it was constructed in 1802, modeled after Beijing’s Forbidden City, and stands as Vietnam’s largest and most intact ancient architectural complex. Inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993, despite wartime damage, its restoration preserves its former grandeur, making it a cultural treasure of Vietnam. The day tour ends at Khai Dinh Tomb. The Tomb is the mausoleum of Emperor Khai Dịnh, the twelfth emperor of Vietnam’s Nguyen Dynasty. Constructed between 1920 and 1931, it blends European Neoclassical and East Asian traditional architectural elements. Built in three tiers following the mountain’s slope, the tomb features exquisite decorations with mosaic patterns crafted from ceramic shards and stained glass, making it one of the most artistically valuable royal tombs in Vietnam.

Their planning is impecable and very efficient and if anything is not as you expected they will work to make sure it is. we did a 21 day itinerary for 7 including 2 grandmas back on 2018 and we just went back a couple of weeks ago with our daughter for 12 days and had an awesome time. Best Asia Tours did a really good job planning our itinerary in Japan. Some times we had issues coming up I think mostly related to cultural differences, but our agent was amazing and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were comfortable and the trip was perfect. The hotels are centrally located, very easy to access to the city center. The guide and driver are friendly and nice. We spend a pleasant and amazing journey there.

The trip was great and our agent performed great. We were pleasantly surprised with how responsive they were and with the trip that they planned. Very professional. A previous agent told us we couldn’t pull off a trip with so many stops but it was not a problem and the pace of the trip was good for us. We don’t like sitting still in one spot for too long. The guides in each city did well and a couple were excellent.
