Qiandao Lake Beautiful China Resort: The resort is designed with an eastern zone for dynamic sports and a western zone for wellness retreats, featuring four key attractions: WILD WORLD Adventure Park, WILD WATER World, Forest-on-the-Lake, and a wellness resort center. At the UPUP Water Club, enjoy non-motorized water activities such as water biking, kayaking, and canoeing, along with a floating sports park. On land, explore the Wild World No. 7 Adventure Park with jungle expeditions, UTV rides, and water karting—unlocking exciting outdoor experiences across diverse landscapes.
Xiajiang Village: Recognized as one of the World’s Best Tourism Villages and a National Key Rural Tourism Village, it offers boutique homestays such as Qishe and Mailang. Visitors can explore scenic spots including the village itself, Wulangwu hiking trail, Qiandao Lake Grand Canyon, and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Back Alley. Savor local specialties such as farmhouse pork, corn cakes, and freshwater stream fish.
“The Place Where Dreams Begin” Ecological Water Show: This immersive performance blends original ecological art, folk antiphonal singing, dance, water-land music festivals, and theatrical performances. It integrates authentic rural life with modern artistic expression, using Xiajiang’s natural landscape as a stage to create a multi-sensory experience combining performance, light, and visual arts.
Day 2 Forests, Foam & Fireflies
Hongshan Valley Scenic Area: It boasts a rare primeval forest in western Zhejiang, with negative oxygen ion concentrations in the air reaching as high as 320,000 per cubic centimeter. It is a wellness haven where you can release tension, regulate your breathing, and restore emotional balance. Stepping into Hongshan Valley Scenic Area feels like entering a paradise on earth—the invigorating fresh air envelops you, intoxicating the senses. Here, verdant mountains stretch endlessly, waterfalls cascade in every direction, and clear emerald pools dot the landscape. As you ascend the stone steps, you are accompanied by mountain streams and waterfalls at every turn, the sounds of jungle birds, babbling waters, and towering ancient trees. It is a secluded mountain-and-water retreat like no other, cut off from the outside world.
Qiandao Lake Sailing Center: The center features two main zones: a family entertainment park and a water sports base. The water sports area offers 12 cutting-edge activities, including sailing, windsurfing, wake surfing, parasailing, jet boating, powered hang gliding, electric surfboards, and flyboarding. The family park includes 15 recreational attractions such as castle-style diving slides, trampolines, rainbow slides with climbing walls, water obstacle courses, and water bicycles.
“Love of Moonlight” Light & Shadow Night Cruise: It’s China’s first immersive island-based light and shadow art project. Board a night cruise and enter a fairy-tale island shrouded in mist, like stepping into a forest of fireflies. Enjoy sights of koi swimming, poetic scenes inspired by “the moon rising over the sea,” and a charming pet park for children. Featuring 26 artworks from renowned international artists, this exhibition merges light and water into a spectacular visual experience.
Day 3 Thunder on the Gorge, Tranquility in the Garden
Longtan Gorge Rafting: Located at the foot of Mount Jinzi Peak, this 3.6 km rafting route with a 166-meter drop is one of the fastest and most thrilling natural mountain spring rafting experiences. It combines four styles—adventure, warrior, speed, and spinning rafting—offering excitement, challenge, and unique scenery.
Qiandao Lake Botanical Garden: Situated on Qingxin Island in the central lake area, just 800 meters from the visitor center, this high-standard botanical garden integrates plant landscapes, cultural experiences, wedding photography, social media hotspots, science education, outdoor fitness, and leisure tourism. It features nearly 300 varieties of ornamental plants, including hydrangeas of various species such as macrophylla, paniculata, oakleaf, serrata, and tree hydrangeas.
