About This Trip
Life is not the years we live,
but the moments we remember.
– One Hundred Years of Solitude

Nepal, a beautiful country nestled in the Himalayas, is known as the “Hiker’s Paradise”. It has been listed by the BBC as one of the 50 must-visit destinations in the world for a lifetime.

Warm Reminder:
1.Participants will take a lot of physical energy in the three cities which are Kala Patthar,
Gokyo fifth Lake and Gokyo Rip. And it is more difficult to reach the designated points for somebody during the journey, so it is not forced to complete it. You can choose to hike according to your personal physical condition and time. The guide has the right to adjust or shorten the route according to the actual travel situation to avoid unnecessary accidents.
2.Accommodation: The guesthouses on the mountain are mostly basic with average hygiene conditions. Guests who are particular about this can bring their own bedsheets, pillowcases, sleeping bags, etc.
Off-season Trekking (From June to mid-September): By default, every two guests will share a double room (each with a single bed). If the total number of guests is odd, one guest will stay in a single room and pay the single room supplement, which covers both the additional room cost and the cost of having a porter solely dedicated to them.
Peak Season Trekking (From mid-September to next May): During peak season, some accommodation points on the mountain may experience room shortages. Single guests may need to share a room with guests from other trekking groups or stay in a triple room with other guests from their own group. Therefore, single guests booking during peak season accept these adjustments in case of room shortages. Please consider before booking. Additionally, we will refund the single room supplement saved to the guest.
Extra Charges at Guesthouses: Drinking hot water, WiFi, and power banks may incur additional fees, especially at guesthouses at higher altitudes. Guests are responsible for these costs and should be aware of them.
3.Due to the limited options for diet, all the meals are very simple. It is suggested that you purchase some foods in Kathmandu to improve your diet during your hiking. You can bring higher calorie foods, such as chocolate and beef jerky, to replenish energy after hiking. A lot of water drunk every day is needed that helps to adapt to the high-altitude environment.
4.Due to the limited medical conditions during this route, please bring your own common medicines, such as cold, diarrhea medicine, and First aid kit etc.
5.As it is the more difficult hiking route with an average altitude of over 4000 meters, participants are required to have experience in high-altitude hiking within the past 2 years and be between the ages of 18 and 55.
6.Trekking Permit Processing: Please provide us with an electronic version of your passport-sized photo at least 10 days before the trip. The photo can have any color background and any size/pixel, as long as it is clear. Our agency will process the necessary trekking permits for you (cost included) and hand them over to the guide and porter.
7.Recommended Self-prepared Trekking Equipment:
-Essential: Trekking backpack, trekking shoes, extra clothes for changing during the trek, Nepalese rupees for buying water, WiFi, and charging on the trail (USD, CNY, and various bank cards are not accepted on the mountain).
-Optional: Trekking poles, vacuum flask, raincoat, sleeping bag, common medications, band-aids, sunscreen. All outdoor equipment can be rented or purchased on the street near the hotel in local small town.
8.The tipping is advised as 7500 NPR separately for guide and porter after completing the hiking route.
