El Nido

El Nido is located at the northernmost tip of Palawan Island in the Philippines and is made up of 45 islands and islets. Renowned for its dramatic limestone cliffs, crystal-clear lagoons, and rich coral reefs teeming with marine life, it offers exceptional opportunities for sightseeing, snorkeling, and adventure activities such as zip-lining. El Nido is a must-visit island destination for an unforgettable tropical getaway.

Island hopping is the core experience in El Nido. You can either charter a private boat for a more flexible itinerary or choose from four well-established routes, each with its own highlights. Once you’ve made your choice, hop aboard a traditional outrigger boat and set off toward your ideal destinations, beginning an unforgettable island adventure.

Route A: Lagoon Exploration Tour

Route A is El Nido’s most classic island-hopping itinerary, linking iconic spots such as the Big Lagoon, Small Lagoon, Secret Lagoon, and Seven Commandos Beach. It is a journey through lush, jungle-like seascapes and some of the most breathtaking scenery El Nido has to offer.

The Big and Small Lagoons are hidden among towering limestone cliffs formed over hundreds of millions of years. These cliffs are draped in dense vegetation, creating the feeling of a secret forest concealed in the heart of the ocean. As your boat leaves the open sea and enters narrow passages framed by jagged rock formations, the water gradually deepens in color. You then switch to a kayak and paddle farther inside, where soaring cliffs limit your view yet reward you with an even more dramatic and immersive landscape.

Secret Lagoon lies behind a cave opening, revealing a secluded, almost utopian hideaway once you pass through.

At Seven Commandos Beach, you’ll find a large boat engraved with the island’s name and a tree with a swing tied to it. Whether set against the open sea or the towering limestone cliffs, it’s an ideal spot to capture truly unique and beautiful photos.

Route B: Adventure Exploration Tour

El Nido is home to numerous caves waiting to be explored, and Route B connects highlights such as Snake Island, Cathedral Cave, and Cudugnon Cave, making it ideal for travelers who enjoy outdoor adventure.

Snake Island features two small islets linked by a shallow sandbar that emerges at low tide, forming a winding, snake-shaped pathway across the sea. Appearing and disappearing with the tides, it resembles a natural floating bridge. Walking along it feels as if you are strolling on the ocean itself—an experience that is both novel and unforgettable.

The real adventure begins upon reaching Cathedral Cave and Cudugnon Cave. Guided by a local expert, you enter through narrow openings just wide enough for one person, and are instantly greeted by a world completely different from the outside. Over countless years, flowing water has carved the limestone into striking stalactites and stalagmites in a remarkable variety of forms, leaving visitors in awe of nature’s masterful craftsmanship.

Route C: Beach Exploration Route

This route connects some of the most remote spots from the main island—such as Secret Beach, Tapiutan Island, and Matinloc Island—but it also offers the finest snorkeling scenery in the area.

Hidden behind rugged limestone cliffs, Secret Beach feels like a secluded sanctuary carved out of the sea. The surrounding rocks block strong waves, creating a calm refuge for marine life. With few visitors around, snorkeling here allows you to get up close with vibrant underwater creatures and experience one of the most pristine and well-preserved marine environments on the island.

Route D: Beach Exploration Route

This route links Nana Beach, Paradise Beach, and other scenic spots. With few additional activities, it is designed for travelers who simply want to relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of the sea.

One island, four ways of life. Here, time slows and the world feels simpler—leaving you with just one question to consider: where would you like to explore today?

China Essence with Natural Wonders Exploration

May 05th, 2026, Couple

We traveled to China during 05th May to 17th May, 2026. Here goes our comment.

Guilin & Yangshuo:

Mr. Tom was an excellent guide in every aspect. He made every experience a great adventure and beyond. With his energy and knowledge, he adjusted the schedule with extra activities such as visiting the pandas, which made it extra special. He is good at explaining everything in a clear and succinct way, since much is guiding us, we loved our time in China and couldn’t have done it without Tom. He is also frequently offering helpful knowledge we very much appreciated. He also took great pictures of us. Mr. Kong, the driver is very courteous & flexible.

Zhangjiajie, Furong & Fenghuang town:

Allen is a capable and smart guide who has an optimistic and patient personality. We feel fortunate to have her. She is very good at arranging the schedule and navigating the towns’ sights in an efficient manner. We appreciate her help to negotiate with the photographer and provide us good seats and advice. The driver Mr. Lee is a safe & excellent driver who is courteous to us, other drivers and pedestrians. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Zhengzhou area. The hotel was excellent!

Beijing:

Ray Liu is a very knowledgeable and smart guide with excellent English. We learned a lot from him about Chinese history, culture, and current life. He is on time and capable. He shared with us a lot of interesting facts and information, and it was easy to talk to him because he is friendly, talkative and has fluent English. Ray knows his way around & got us everywhere, and it was nice there was a charge port in the back. He can be more courteous to bikers & pedestrians, but we got everywhere safely.

Classic Japan Tour, Tokyo, Mt.Fuji, Osaka, Kyoto

Aug 2025

Best Asia Tours did a really good job planning our itinerary in Japan. Some times we had issues coming up I think mostly related to cultural differences, but our agent was amazing and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were comfortable and the trip was perfect. The hotels are centrally located, very easy to access to the city center. The guide and driver are friendly and nice. We spend a pleasant and amazing journey there.
