Marina Bay

滨海艺术中心5

Marina Bay, synonymous with modernity and ultra-fashion, is home to many iconic landmarks. Stroll along the bustling city waterfront day and night, and immerse yourself in the stunning views of Singapore’s vibrant Marina Bay area.

1. City and Nature

Merlion Park1

Located in Marina Bay, Merlion Park may be small in size, but it is a must-visit destination for tourists due to its iconic symbol of Singapore – the Merlion statue. The park features viewing platforms, shops, and dining options for visitors to take photos and relax. The viewing stands can also be transformed into a stage accommodating 100 performers, with the audience seated on the steps, backed by Marina Bay, enjoying captivating performances under the stars.

Visit Gardens by the Bay1

Marina Bay Gardens showcases a diverse collection of plants and flowers from around the world, embodying Singapore’s essence as a “Garden City”. Among its three gardens, the Bay South Garden is the largest. The towering Supertree Grove at its center is the most striking landmark here. Walking among the trees on the OCBC Skyway offers a panoramic view of the Bay South Garden.

Singapore Flyer1

In a 30-minute rotation, the Singapore Flyer will take you to a height of 165 meters above the ground, offering a panoramic view of Marina Bay. In addition to enjoying the scenery, the Ferris wheel also provides dining services, making it a memorable experience to savor delicious food amid the ever-changing vistas.

Marina Bay1

While walking around Marina Bay, visitors will undoubtedly come across a uniquely designed bridge, the world’s first double-helix pedestrian bridge. This bridge connects Bay South and Bay Central, forming a 3.5-kilometer walking loop around Marina Bay. Constructed with stainless steel tubes, the two intertwined helix curves create a core structure extending 280 meters. Whether viewed from the bridge deck or from its five observation platforms, the Double Helix Bridge enhances the city’s skyline. The inner helix supports a canopy of perforated glass and stainless-steel mesh for sunshade. The bridge also features circular lookout points where pedestrians can rest or enjoy city views, making it an ideal spot for watching water sports and fireworks displays.

2. Marina Bay Sands Resort

Marina Bay2

In Singapore’s Marina Bay area stands a landmark of modern architecture –Marina Bay Sands. Designed by architect Moshe Safdie, the structure consists of three towers inspired by the shape of two playing cards leaned against the other. Each tower features two blocks narrowing as they rise, with one side slanted at a 26-degree angle, presenting significant construction challenges.

At the top of the hotel is the Sands SkyPark, which connects the three towers. It features a 200-meter infinity pool, a 10,000-square-meter garden, public observation decks, and various dining options, creating a verdant oasis in the city. The 66.5-meter-long observation deck is the longest available cantilevered structure in the world, offering panoramic views of Marina Bay Gardens, the stunning Supertree Grove, the Marina Bay Sands Arts Centre, Merlion Park, and other iconic landmarks.

At night, the SkyPark observation deck offers a spectacular outdoor light and water show, where dazzling lasers sweep overhead, creating a mesmerizing experience.

3. Art Exploration

Marina Bay4

In Marina Bay stands a building shaped like a blooming lotus flower—the ArtScience Museum. This museum, the world’s first to combine art and science, is a landmark of Marina Bay. The museum’s exhibitions of art and scientific works attract many visitors, and the building’s iconic lotus design is truly breathtaking. The striking exterior alone is worth seeing, and the exhibits inside are equally impressive, enhanced by the building’s unique architecture.

The Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay is a vast arts and cultural center in Marina Bay. It features a range of multifunctional venues including a concert hall, theater, performance space, rehearsal rooms, and an outdoor performance area. The center regularly hosts a variety of live performances, local and international music shows, and cultural exhibitions.

China Essence with Natural Wonders Exploration

May 05th, 2026, Couple

We traveled to China during 05th May to 17th May, 2026. Here goes our comment.

Guilin & Yangshuo:

Mr. Tom was an excellent guide in every aspect. He made every experience a great adventure and beyond. With his energy and knowledge, he adjusted the schedule with extra activities such as visiting the pandas, which made it extra special. He is good at explaining everything in a clear and succinct way, since much is guiding us, we loved our time in China and couldn’t have done it without Tom. He is also frequently offering helpful knowledge we very much appreciated. He also took great pictures of us. Mr. Kong, the driver is very courteous & flexible.

Zhangjiajie, Furong & Fenghuang town:

Allen is a capable and smart guide who has an optimistic and patient personality. We feel fortunate to have her. She is very good at arranging the schedule and navigating the towns’ sights in an efficient manner. We appreciate her help to negotiate with the photographer and provide us good seats and advice. The driver Mr. Lee is a safe & excellent driver who is courteous to us, other drivers and pedestrians. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Zhengzhou area. The hotel was excellent!

Beijing:

Ray Liu is a very knowledgeable and smart guide with excellent English. We learned a lot from him about Chinese history, culture, and current life. He is on time and capable. He shared with us a lot of interesting facts and information, and it was easy to talk to him because he is friendly, talkative and has fluent English. Ray knows his way around & got us everywhere, and it was nice there was a charge port in the back. He can be more courteous to bikers & pedestrians, but we got everywhere safely.

Classic Japan Tour, Tokyo, Mt.Fuji, Osaka, Kyoto

Aug 2025

Best Asia Tours did a really good job planning our itinerary in Japan. Some times we had issues coming up I think mostly related to cultural differences, but our agent was amazing and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were comfortable and the trip was perfect. The hotels are centrally located, very easy to access to the city center. The guide and driver are friendly and nice. We spend a pleasant and amazing journey there.
