Imagine embarking on a breathtaking journey above Yeouido and enjoying a new perspective on the unique charm of Seoul. The city’s latest landmark, the Seoul Moon, offers an extraordinary urban sightseeing experience.
The Seoul Moon, located in Yeouido Park, is a massive 22-meter-diameter, moon-shaped tethered helium sightseeing balloon. Its surface displays the Seoul city slogan introduced in 2023: “SEOUL MY SOUL.”
The Seoul Moon employs non-flammable helium for vertical flights, ensuring exceptional safety. The balloon is securely tethered to the ground with cables, minimizing the risk of straying from its designated flight area.
Riding the Seoul Moon takes you 150 meters into the air, where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of Seoul. The experience is especially enchanting at night, as the city lights create a dazzling spectacle. Each flight lasts approximately 15 minutes.
Currently, the Seoul Moon does not accept reservations. To board, visitors must queue on-site to receive a ticket number, wait for their number to be called, pay by card, undergo a safety briefing, and sign a consent form before boarding.
