Day 1 Kathmandu – Arrival
Welcome to Nepal, a paradise for trekkers and a sacred destination for spiritual pilgrimage. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, our local English-speaking guide will greet you at the airport, marking the beginning of your journey in Nepal.
Kathmandu is a city where ancient and modern architecture coexist, reminiscent of medieval Europe—old yet not oppressive. The local culture is simple and pure, surrounded by stunning landscapes of lakes and mountains. Nestled on the southern slopes of the Himalayas, this natural barrier shields the city from the cold northern winds, while the warm currents from the Indian Ocean flow in from the south. This unique geographical setting makes it a world-renowned tourist destination.

Day 2 Travel from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park (Around 5-6 hours by car)
After breakfast, take the vehicle and depart from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park, one of Asia’s finest natural reserves, renowned for its rich biodiversity. The name “Chitwan” means “Heart of the Jungle,” and the park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the rare one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, deer, bears, leopards, wild boars, crocodiles, and over 350 species of birds. Upon arrival in Chitwan, enjoy lunch and check in at a jungle-themed resort.
This afternoon, you will attending the interesting Canoeing on the Rapti River (around 45 minutes). If you’re lucky, you might spot wild crocodiles and beautiful waterbirds. Then visit the Elephant Village (around 1 hour) Learn about the lives and habits of elephants from a local guide. In the evening, head to the banks of the Rapti River. Enjoy the stunning sunset with a cup of coffee or a bottle of beer, soaking in the serene atmosphere.
During dinner, experience the traditional Tharu cultural dance. Feel free to join in and immerse yourself in the lively and exotic performance. Relax and unwind in the tranquility of nature, letting go of the fatigue from the day’s journey. Enjoy the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation in this unique jungle setting.
Day 3 Jungle Safari and Cultural Exploration in Chitwan
Enjoy a day filled with adventure and cultural immersion, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the simplicity of rural life. This is a perfect opportunity to connect with the wilderness and the local way of life in Chitwan.
After breakfast, a local park guide will brief you on safety precautions and important notes. Then, embark on an exciting elephant-back jungle safari (around 2 hours) for a thrilling adventure. Traverse through the jungle, where you may spot graceful spotted deer, elk, playful monkeys, and even majestic Bengal tigers, sloth bears, agile leopards, and other wildlife living freely in their natural habitat. This area is also home to the rare one-horned rhinoceros, which you can search for during the safari—your chances of spotting one are quite high!
Lunch will be served with local food.
This afternoon, continue to visit a Tharu Village (around 30 minutes) and learn about their daily life and experience the local culture. Stroll leisurely through the quaint village and immerse yourself in its rustic charm.

Day 4 Travel Chitwan to Pokhara (Around 4 hours by car)
Today, you will depart from Chitwan to Pokhara, known as the “Switzerland of Asia.” Along the way, you’ll pass through lush forests, rushing rivers, crystal-clear lakes, and winding rural landscapes, all complemented by the majestic Annapurna mountain range to the north, with peaks exceeding 8,000 meters. This breathtaking scenery leaves travelers from around the world enchanted.
A lunch stop will be arranged at an appropriate time during the journey. Upon arrival, visit the mysterious Devi’s Fall (around 40 minutes). Located about 4 kilometers from Pokhara, this waterfall is unique because it disappears into an underground cave and re-emerges several kilometers away as a river. The cave is perpetually filled with steam, and you can feel the heat with your hands. The mist in the air often creates a rainbow-like effect.
In the afternoon, head to the World Peace Pagoda (around 30 minutes), a serene site overlooking Phewa Lake. (Note: The car cannot reach the pagoda directly. A 40-minute hiking is required.) Built in 2000 through a joint effort by Japan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Thailand, the pagoda is a symbol of peace and offers stunning views of Phewa Lake, the Himalayas, Pokhara city, and the sunset over the snow-capped mountains.
Late this afternoon, take a leisurely stroll along the Lakeside area of Phewa Lake, which stretches 3-4 kilometers and is lined with shops, bars, and restaurants.
Day 5 Full Day to Explore Pokhara
If the weather permits, your guide will wake you up around 4:00 AM, and you will then drive to Sarangkot, a small hill located on the edge of the Pokhara Valley. Here, you can witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas (around 100 minutes). The view of the Annapurna mountain range is awe-inspiring, with the snow-capped peaks glowing in the changing colors of the sunrise. The golden hue of the iconic Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre) is particularly spectacular. After this unforgettable experience, return to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, enjoy a serene boating experience on Phewa Lake (around 1 hour). As you glide across the tranquil waters, take in the stunning views of the Pokhara Valley, surrounded by lush hills and majestic mountains.Then visit the Barahi Temple (Shakti Goddess Temple), located on a small island in the middle of Phewa Lake. This temple is one of Pokhara’s most important landmarks and is dedicated to the goddess Shakti, the protector of women. It is common to see female devotees crossing the lake to offer female animals and poultry as sacrifices to the goddess. The temple has also become an integral part of local wedding ceremonies. Spend the rest of your day soaking in the peaceful ambiance of Pokhara, surrounded by the beauty of the lake and the towering Himalayan peaks.
Day 6 Travel from Pokhara to Kathmandu (Around 7 hours by car)
Today, continue on your exploration from Pokhara back to Kathmandu by car. Upon arrival, visit Thamel (commonly known as the “Foreigners’ Street”), often referred to as the “Little Hong Kong.” This bustling area is a hub for international tourists, with narrow streets filled with people from all over the world. The vibrant atmosphere is complemented by countless shops, making it a must-visit destination in Nepal. A lunch stop will be arranged at an appropriate time during the journey.
In the evening, enjoy a special treat: a traditional Nepali dinner featuring authentic local cuisine. The meal is accompanied by a spectacular Nepali cultural dance performance, showcasing the rich heritage and vibrant traditions of Nepal. This immersive experience is the perfect way to end your day in Kathmandu.
Day 7 Travel from Kathmandu to Nagarkot
After breakfast, head to Patan Durbar Square, a rectangular plaza surrounded by architectural marvels. On the eastern side, you’ll find the royal palace, Taleju Temple, Golden Temple, and Manga Hiti, a historic water spout. The western side is adorned with various uniquely designed temples, including the famous Krishna Temple, Krishna Mandir, Hari Shankar Temple, Vishnu Temple, and Biswanath Temple. The square is renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship and architectural brilliance, earning it a place in global architectural history. It is often referred to as an “open-air museum.”
Then visit the Swayambhunath Temple (a UNESCO World Heritage Site, commonly known as the “Monkey Temple”) (around 1.5 hours). This ancient Buddhist temple, believed to be over 2,000 years old, is one of the most glorious Buddhist sites in the world. It attracts Nepalese nuns, Tibetan monks, and pilgrims from both Buddhism and Hinduism, making it a perfect place to observe the harmonious coexistence of Nepal’s diverse religions. The temple complex exudes a rustic charm, with intricately decorated windows and finely detailed temple architecture. The combination of temples, stupas, and copper ornaments, along with flocks of pigeons and playful monkeys, creates a unique and enchanting atmosphere.
Later, explore the Bhaktapur Durbar Square (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) (around 2 hours). This square, dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries, is a treasure trove of medieval art and architecture. Afterward, drive to Nagarkot, a beautiful Newari village located 30 kilometers east of Kathmandu. Nagarkot is famous for its breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range, particularly during sunrise and sunset, making it a renowned Himalayan viewpoint.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at your resort in Nagarkot, where you can savor delicious meals while soaking in the stunning views. Nagarkot is celebrated for its spectacular views of the Himalayan sunrise and sunset, offering one of the widest and most stunning perspectives of the Himalayan range from the Kathmandu Valley. The combination of great food and majestic scenery creates a truly relaxing and memorable experience.
Day 8 Nagarkot – Kathmandu- Departure
Today is the ending day of your discovery tour in Nepal. Start your day early by enjoying a spectacular sunrise over the snow-capped mountains at Observation Deck in Nagarkot (around 10-minute driving distance from your hotel), where you will feel the divine radiance emanating from these majestic peaks, a beauty beyond words.
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu to visit the Grand Boudhanath Stupa (a World Heritage Site) (around 1 hour), one of the largest stupas in South Asia and a sacred site for Tibetan Buddhism, commonly known as “Little Tibet”. Perched atop a grand white dome, stands a square stupa, with each of its four sides adorned with a colossal, worldly-wise Buddha’s eye.
After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, end your memorable tour in Nepal.
