About This Trip
Embark on a thrilling 7-day journey across Indonesia, starting from Surabaya. First,
you will explore the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, where cascading water creates a
breathtaking spectacle. At dawn, head to Mount Bromo to witness the mesmerizing
sunrise amidst a sea of clouds, followed by an exhilarating climb up the volcano.
Next, sail to Bali and visit Ubud, immersing yourself in its unique blend of art and
nature while exploring the Ubud Palace and local markets. Then, unwind on the
serene and fascinating shores of Sanur Beach in Bali. We also plan a day for you to
discover Penida, where you’ll visit its iconic west-coast attractions and
encounter stunning coastal vistas, creating unforgettable memories.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Surabaya
Welcome to the “Archipelago Nation” – Indonesia, where its magnificent volcanic landscapes, unique cultural heritage, charming beaches, and abundant marine life offer visitors an unparalleled travel experience blending nature and culture.
Upon arrival, you will be picked up at Juanda International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Surabaya. The rest of the day, enjoy your relaxing time at your hotel.
Day 2 Surabya – Bromo Volcano
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on an exploration journey to the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is a magnificent circular “multi-tiered waterfall” hidden within the primitive jungles of East Java, Indonesia. Fed by the waters of Mount Semeru, it boasts a staggering drop of 120 meters, creating an awe-inspiring and breathtaking spectacle. You will travel by car to the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall scenic area. Upon arrival, you will commence a hike to admire this natural wonder up close. The entire hiking experience lasts approximately 3 hours, involving climbing bamboo ladders, wading through streams, and trekking over gravel paths. It is recommended to wear short-sleeved shirts, shorts, and water shoes.
Around 2:00 PM, you will depart by car for Bromo and check into a hotel near Mount Bromo for some free time (the journey takes about 5 hours). Please have a rest earlier tonight and prepare for Bromo Volcano Sunrise Tour in next morning.
Day 3 Bromo
Your Bromo Volcano Sunrise Tour (the entire experience lasts approximately 6 hours) kick off at 2:00 AM. The following schedule is for your reference:
- 2:00am, the driver will be waiting for you at your hotel.
- A jeep will take you across the sandy sea to Penanjakan Peak (the highest viewpoint) to witness the magical sunrise. The drive from the hotel to the parking area at the viewpoint takes about 1 hour.
- Upon arrival at the parking lot, walk approximately 200 meters to the Penanjakan Peak viewpoint to await the sunrise moment. Capture stunning photos of this unforgettable scene.
- After enjoying the sunrise, return to the jeep, drive downhill, and cross the sandy sea toward Mount Bromo. The journey from the viewpoint to the Bromo parking area takes about 1 hour. At the parking area, begin your ascent to the volcano. You can choose to walk or ride a horse to the base of the volcano. From there, it’s about 1.8 kilometers to the crater, with 200 steps to climb.
- After exploring Mount Bromo, return to the jeep and drive back to the hotel.
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and freshen up by washing off the volcanic ash.

Day 4 Bromo -Ubud – Sanur
This morning, after checking out from the hotel, the driver will take you to Banyuwangi Port, where you will take a ferry to Bali Island.
Upon arrival, the local driver will meet you and transferred you to Ubud and spend half day time there to learn about the culture of Ubud and stroll through the local market.
- Tirta Empul Temple
Founded in 962 AD, the temple was built around an underground spring and was regarded as one of the six most renowned temples on the island. There are over ten spring outlets in the temple, each with different purported benefits. Local residents come here to bathe and pray three times a day—morning, noon, and evening. The temple boasts a grand and complete architectural scale, embodying the characteristics of Balinese temples. It serves as both an important religious site and a popular tourist attraction.
- Ubud Palace
Ubud Palace in Bali, built in the 16th century, served as the residence of the Sukawati royal family. It is located in the bustling area of Ubud, a renowned art hub. The palace blends traditional carvings with gold-leaf decorations, exuding grandeur. With 60 rooms, though not vast in scale, it attracts visitors with its exquisite craftsmanship.
- Ubud Traditional Market
The market in Bali is located opposite the Ubud Palace and is a well – known local market that opens every day. It offers a rich variety of goods, including handicrafts, fruits, and vegetables, and is full of vitality. You can stroll around leisurely and buy your favorite souvenirs.
After the tour, drive to check-in at the seaside luxury resort and enjoy relaxing time there.
Day 5 Sanur – Penida
Today, you will spend a full day time to explore the hidden gems of Indonesia—Penida.
Full day tour schedule:
08:30 Depart from Sanur Pier
09:30 Arrive at Penida Island for a cruise: Visit Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach, and Angel’s Billabong.
- Kelingking Beach: This is where the same sunken – ship bay as in “Descendants of the Sun” is located.
- Angel’s Billabong: It resembles a natural infinity pool, just separated from the sea by a thin line. It’s an extremely popular Instagram – worthy photo spot with a 360 – degree unobstructed view.
- Broken Beach: A masterpiece formed by nature’s incredible craftsmanship, known as a “natural emerald”.
14:00 Water activities at the island club (one ride on a banana boat, one ride in a canoe, and snorkeling)
16:00 Return to Sanur
Day 6 Sanur
Enjoy the relaxing time at the resort by your own.
Day 7 Sanur – Denpasar
Conclude your exploration tour in Sanur. At the designated time, your driver will be waiting for you at the hotel and will take you to the airport to embark on a safe return trip. Looking forward to seeing you again next time!
